Alan Carver A life-long attachment to the sea is evident in the work of Alan Carver as he captures both the spirit and mood of the marine environment. His photographic training and experience includes 24 years as a Photo-Journalist and Public Affairs Officer in the United States Coast Guard. As an illustrator, he is basically a self-taught artist preferring to work primarily in watercolors, pen and ink and pencil.
