maui,
hawai'i
The waters around
Maui are totally unique. Diversity is everywhere. From intricate lava tube caves
interspersed with coral outcroppings along the coast to the Molokini Crater
whose interior coral gardens contrast sharply the crater's outer walls. And
because of the relative isolation of the Hawai'ian Archipelago, these sites
are populated with many species that are found nowhere else in the world.
